International Conference Ideas and Planning:
We talked about the need for different model for EBTD practitioners to congregate and collaborate during AEE conferences. The 1 hour organizational meeting is not sufficient. Strong support was voiced for an open space 3 hour workshop time block DURING next year’s conference in Montreal. Joc Clark, Terry Nail, Joy Blanding and Glenda
Escalante expressed interest in helping organize that initiative. Thank you!
Based on feedback at the conference and after, Marc Levy has proposed a preconference around the theme of “Everyday HR Functions” which would feature best practices in retention and reward systems, hiring processes, entry level supervision skills, etc. Please contact him if you are interested.
